HANDMADE TEXAS RUM_™

Distillery tours & tastings are by appointment only.  To schedule a tour, please send an email to tours@railean.com or contact the distillery directly at (713) 545-2742.  Be warned this is a working distillery and the facility is not air conditioned.  

You will meet the founders of Railean Distillers and they will explain how they got into the rum businness and how RAILEAN rum is made.  Included is a discussion on sugarcane and the fermentation process, distillation theory and operation of the still, dark versus white rum, barrel aging and the bottling process.  Most likley the still will be running and you will have a chance to meet the master distiller.
